Programs Day Training emphasizes the development of social and economic skills, attitudes and behaviors through utilization of paid work experiences within a controlled environment. Funding for individual participants is usually provided by a governmental agency such as the Division of Services for People with Disabilities, health care finance or school districts. Individuals in this program work on real work and are paid according to the amount they produce. An individual program plan is developed for each trainee to determine which services will be provided. |
